Dassant Truffle Brownies mix

  is not only an unbelievable chocolate dessert, but the perfect base for so many of our other recipes. Made with chocolate chips, rich Dutch brownie cocoa and Madagascar vanilla, this dense, moist brownies mix will satisfy even the most extreme sweet tooth. This mix is second in popularity only to our Classic Beer Bread mix.

  • Mixing Time: 1 minute
  • Bake Time: 25 to 28 minutes

All You Need

    • 2 eggs
    • Standard 8x8x2 pan
    • 1 stick butter (4 oz.)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Prepare

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a standard 8x8x2 pan with butter or cooking spray.

  2. Mix

    In an 8 cup microwave-safe bowl, melt butter for 1 minute at 50% power until creamy. (Or, melt butter until creamy in a 2 quart saucepan). Whisk in eggs until blended. Add mix and stir until moistened.

  3. Pan

    Spread brownie batter in pan, filling corners, and level top.

  4. Oven

    Bake at 350°F for 25 to 28 minutes. Cool completely.

Storage suggestion: 4 to 5 days in refrigerator in plastic bag. 1 month in freezer.

Lower Fat Recipe

For a lower fat alternative try the following:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup natural applesauce
  • Full package of mix

Combine and bake at 350°F for 26 to 28 minutes.
