All You Need

- 1 egg

- 1/3 cup melted butter

- 1/2 cup milk

- Flat baking sheet
Preparation Instructions

Prepare
Preheat oven to 400°F.

Mix
Combine egg, milk, and butter. Add mix. Stir until moistened (dough will be sticky).

Pan
Place dough on floured board. Pat or roll into 8-inch circle. Cut into pie shaped wedges and place on baking sheet. Optional: Glaze tops with egg wash (see side panel).

Oven
Bake at 400°F for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
Storage suggestion: 2 to 3 days in refrigerator in plastic bag. 1 month in freezer.
Cranberry Nut
Add 1/2 cup dried cranberries and 1/2 cup pecans, walnuts, or almonds to mix, and then add to liquid, mix and bake.
Triple Chocolate Chip
Add 1/3 cup each of milk, dark and white chocolate chips to mix and then add to liquid, mix and bake.
Drop Scones
Drop heaping spoonfuls of dough on baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake normally.
Egg Wash
Combine 1 large egg and 1 tablespoon milk together and whisk until frothy. Using a pastry brush glaze scone top.
