Butterscotch Scones with Pecans and Caramel

Ingredients
For Scones:
- Full box Scone Mix
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
For Topping:
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans
Directions
For Scone:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease standard baking sheet. Combine egg, milk, butter, and butterscotch chips. Add mix. Stir until moistened (dough will be sticky). Place dough on floured board. Pat or roll into 8-inch circle. Cut into pie shaped wedges and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkles toasted pecans and butterscotch chips on top of scones. Optional: Glaze tops with egg wash. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes.
For Topping:
- Once cool, drizzle caramel sauce over scones.
