Apricot Almond Cake

Ingredients
For Cake:
- Full box Vanilla Cake Mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1 stick melted butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup fresh apricots
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
For Topping:
- 1 cup heavy whipped cream
- Fresh apricots
Directions
For Cake:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 10 inch tart pan. Combine eggs, butter, milk, apricots, and almonds. Add mix. Gently fold together. Pour batter into tart pan. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top of batter. Bake for 33 to 36 minutes
For Topping:
- In a medium sized bowl whip cream with electric mixer. Add sugar to sweeten. Place a spoonful of whip cream on top of the sliced cake. Add sliced apricot for garnish.
