- Makes: 12-14 Biscuits Depending on Pan
- Active Time: 5 Minutes
- Total Time: 18-20 Minutes
- Tools Required: A wide variety of biscuit pans can be used. For this recipe we used the cast-iron round biscuit pan from Lodge®, which can be found in most sporting good stores. You could use a standard muffin tin as well.
Ingredients
- Full box Beer Bread Mix
- 12 oz. beer or soda water
- 1 cup cheddar cheese - shredded
- 3 tablespoons garlic - chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley - chopped
- 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400° F. Combine cheese, garlic, parsley, cracked pepper and mix. Add beer and fold together until soft dough forms (30-40 seconds). Take action!
Our Classic Beer Bread adapts beautifully for these melt-in-your-mouth-biscuits. The perfect combination of melted cheddar cheese, flavor-packed garlic, and cracked pepper makes these biscuits near perfect. Serve them warm alongside a hearty stew or your favorite steaming entrée. My family and I try to mix it up when enjoying these biscuits, choosing different pan or tin styles for a fun variety. This easy recipe is absolutely fool- proof for Dutch oven baking. No matter how you enjoy them, it's a biscuit you're guaranteed to have a hard time only making once!
